Seal-Flex Patch Instructions
Occasionally, small accidents do happen that require a small patch. At the time of installation, you received a patch kit consisting of one-50 pound bag of rubber strands and one gallon of liquid latex.

The following instructions are a guide for you to help maintain your Seal-Flex running surface in case such an accident occurs.

  1. Trim back track surface in area to be patched so as to have a solid edge.
  2. Remove all loose and foreign material from this spot.
  3. Place rubber strands in a suitable mixing container. (i.e. coffee can, cup, etc.)
  4. Mix liquid latex with rubber strands using just enough latex to thoroughly coat rubber.
  5. Place mixed material in area to be patched.
  6. Using a trowel or other flat instrument strike off material until even with surrounding surface. Be sure to remove any excess material and allow drying.
  7. If a patched area should cross any lane lines, carefully touch up lines with flat latex based exterior paint.
