Seal-Flex Patch Instructions
|

Occasionally, small accidents do happen that require a small patch. At the time of installation, you received a patch kit consisting of one-50 pound bag of rubber strands and one gallon of liquid latex.
The following instructions are a guide for you to help maintain your Seal-Flex running surface in case such an accident occurs.

|
- Trim back track surface in area to be patched so as to have a solid edge.
- Remove all loose and foreign material from this spot.
- Place rubber strands in a suitable mixing container. (i.e. coffee can, cup, etc.)
- Mix liquid latex with rubber strands using just enough latex to thoroughly coat rubber.
- Place mixed material in area to be patched.
- Using a trowel or other flat instrument strike off material until even with surrounding surface. Be sure to remove any excess material and allow drying.
- If a patched area should cross any lane lines, carefully touch up lines with flat latex based exterior paint.
